The sporting year of 2024 got off to a great start in January when Italian Jannik Sinner defeated Daniil Medvedev to win his maiden Grand Slam title at the Australian Open. Moreover, Sabalenka won the Australian Open for the second consecutive year. Then, there was the disappointment of our Black Stars exiting the AFCON again after the group stage. But the tournament is still in full swing and we have seen exciting games, including the nail-biting penalty shootout after which DR Congo dismissed Egypt from the AFCON.

AFCON: We have seen a lot of surprises as AFCON advances into the quarterfinals! South Africa beat Morocco, Senegal was eliminated by Ivory Coast while Egypt was defeated by DR Congo. What is going to happen next? And moreover who will lift the cup?
EPL: With 48 points, Liverpool is still in first place; Man City is a close second with 43 points; and Arsenal is up in third with a similar tally of 43 points. Aston Villa is another squad with 43 points, and the main factor dividing these final four teams is goal differential. Tottenham remains in fifth place with 40 points. UEFA Champions League: The Champions League will be back in action as of 13 February 2024 with matches between Copenhagen and Man City and furthermore RB Leipzig and Real Madrid amonst many others. The What will February bring? Let’s see!
